Due to the current global pandemic, hand hygiene is now at the forefront of our thoughts and is understood to be a very important aspect in preventing the spread of disease.
Ktouch+ is a cosmetic hand hygiene product that offers a gentle, hygienic and caring hand cleansing solution.
Washing hands with common soap achieves at the optimum a germ reduction of 2log levels* Therefore, it was our aim when developing Ktouch+ that it should outperform the germ reduction provided by soap.
In order to prove the hygienic cleansing effect, Ktouch+ has been tested and examined by independent and accredited institutes in accordance with the state of science, according to EN 1499 and EN 1276 for hygienic hand wash.
Ktouch+ fulfils the requirements of this European norm and unlike other soaps, Ktouch+ eliminates 99.99 % of all germs during hand wash, bacterial >log510 cfu.
An additional benefit of using Ktouch+ is the compliance to EN 1499 and the European Norm EN 14476, which is full viricidal efficacy, for shelled & unshelled viruses, like murineNoroV (MNV) and InfluenzaV A/B, EbolaV and nCoronaV.

Ktouch+ also fulfils the requirements of the EC Directive 1223/2009 for cosmetic products.
Ktouch+ is an antimicrobial handwash (EN 1499 hygienic hand wash) and is harmless to the environment. Ktouch+ contains no alcohol but makes use of four patented biodegradable components.
The active microbial ingredients work together to break down the germs on the hands and continue to work long after application (up to 6 hours) through diffusion into the skin, which the skin pores retain. The pores of the skin retain residue of Ktouch+ within the acidic ambience that lead to the destruction of microorganism. However, the effectiveness depends upon the moisture content of the skin.
The efficacy of antimicrobial performance at micro-organism bioburden is measured in a reduction factor of colony forming units.
Example:
100bugs/cm2 down to 1 means log2. This is what normal soap in handwashing does.
99% percent performance.
Ktouch+ reduces bioburden of 100,000 bugs/cm2 down to 1 within 60 seconds of exposure.
Therefore, providing 99,99% performance (log 5 reduction).
